Benefit Check

The Welfare Rights Service is running a campaign with the Families Information Service aimed at families with children aged up to 16 with additional needs.

The campaign is offering benefit checks which are carried out over the telephone, plus information about childcare and other activities. Greenwich Council do not want families to miss out on extra benefits they may be entitled to.

Parents can ring the Welfare Rights Helpline on 020 8921 6375 for help and advice.

Worried about keeping warm this winter? Stay Warm, Stay Safe

This winter, Greenwich Counicl is proving extra services and support to individuals and families whose health is at risk due to the harsh weather conditions. Cold homes can cause health conditions to get worse, for example in people with heart problems or breathing (respiratory) problems.
