If you are interested in applying for a place at Meridian, please read our admissions policy.
Prospective pupils and parents/carers are welcome to come and visit the school. Please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time (Tel: 020 8858 3572 or sao@meridian.greenwich.sch.uk).
NURSERY PLACES:
Children can start Nursery (FS1) at the beginning of the term after they turn 3, subject to the availability of places. Please note that being in our Nursery does not guarantee you a place in our Reception class.
RECEPTION TO YEAR 6:
Children are admitted to Meridian according to the policies agreed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich (RBG) and places are allocated centrally by Greenwich Admissions and not by the school. If you would like to apply for your child to attend Meridian or want to find out about appeal arrangements, please contact the Admissions team at the Royal Borough of Greenwich - email: school-admissions@royalgreenwich.gov.uk or call the Contact Centre on 020 8921 8043. Admission to Reception Class
September 2025 start
If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021, they will start school in September 2025. You need to apply for a primary school place via the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The deadline for applications was 15 January 2025. If you have missed the closing date, you'll still need to apply online.
September 2026 start
If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, they will start school in September 2026. As part of the application process for the Reception Class intake for September 2026, we will be hosting a number of tours in the Autumn 2025 term (October) for prospective parents where you will meet Jo Graham, our Executive Headteacher, and ask any questions you might have about the Admissions process. The dates will be available and posted on the website in October 2025.
